Before you take on a new supplier, or if you are having consistent problems with a supplier you will need a formal supplier audit.
This will be issued to you for discussion with your supplier along with a detailed list of any major non-conformities and the actions required to clear them.
This enables you to keep your key staff on-site and retains your relationship with your supplier.
